‘Moon Knight’ was the series that I came into knowing least about but now it’s done and it’s probably the series that I want to see continue the most. Are you the same? A the same time, it’s also the series where I’ve been the worst at watching it on time and then blogging about it afterwards. You can blame, well, everything for that but even though I’m a little on the late side, I get there in the end 😊 And in that vein, here I am with some quickish thoughts about the last two episodes. ‘Quickish’ because, well… All the normal reasons apply 😉 As per normal, I won’t be re-capping the episodes because ‘Asylum’ is a week old now and it’s better if you go into ‘Gods & Monsters’ cold as it were. I’m cutting it fine (today has been another one of those days…) but I finally managed to find a little time to get caught up on ‘Moon Knight’ 😊 I didn’t even try to watch it last week (the kids were on holiday so the second I got any time spare, I pretty much fell asleep) so it’s a ‘double feature’ this week. I even managed to keep myself spoiler-free, which I never normally do, so was really keen to see just what had happened while I was away. I don't know where the last week went but all of a sudden, it's time for 'Moon Knight' again and I'm all happy about it :o) Last week's episode was excellent and promised good things to come. I mean, I'd have watched it anyway (I watched all of 'Loki' and that wasn't great...) but it makes a difference when things kick off on a good note, doesn't it? Well, I had to fight for a bit of time to watch 'Moon Knight' (thanks for nothing Wednesday...) but I got there in the end and... Let me tell you about it. I've been as sick as a dog today which has left me with loads of time to watch TV but not a lot of energy to work out how I feel about it. This is typical when it's finally time to watch 'Moon Knight'... I've only ever read the one 'Moon Knight' book, and that was years ago now, so I'm coming to this show fresh, as it were, and it's also a show that I've been looking forward to for what seems like ages. It feels like we're slowly moving away from the alien tech, of the early movies, to something that's a little more mystical with 'Shang Chi' and now 'Moon Knight'. Lets see what we get... As always, and particularly with the way that I'm feeling today, I'm not even going to try and recap the episode.
