What I'll be reading in June... (fingers crossed etc)
I'm waiting for my phone to charge, so I can have an alarm that will wake me up (early enough so that I can be first in line to pick my new work laptop from the post office, that's another story though...) so I thought I'd get ahead of myself a little bit and kick off June's blogging early so...
Welcome to June everyone! It's just like May but hopefully a little warmer and with more sun. Not too much sun though, this Graeme does not do well in the heat. Is it me or is this year going a little quicker than we've realised? It feels like we've only just had Christmas and now I'm looking at an end of year review before too long. Oh well, it's getting us further away from 2020 and I'm pretty sure no-one is going to miss 2021 that much either ;o)
It's also that time of the month where I look back and see how well I did with last month's mini-TBR Pile. I'll give you a clue, not that well... The 'May TBR Post' is over Here... Work was a bit intense, last month, so I ended up reading whatever took my eye when I had down time. That's my excuse, that and the fact that I totally didn't pace myself reading 'Carpe Jugulum'... I didn't leave myself with a lot of time for much else after reading 'Carpe Jugulum' although I did finish 'The Weird of the White Wolf' as well. Not the best month for reading through the TBR Pile then but sometimes you just have to make it through to the end of the month and reading takes a back seat, that's just the way it goes.
So where does that leave us this month then...? Well, a mixture of some books that I'm carrying forward, from last month, and some new entries for a new TBR Pile. Lets take a look...
