Books for the TBR Pile... 'Starting The Christmas Shopping Early(ish)' Edition
I'm going to try and make this the last 'Books Bought' post this side of Christmas, lets see how that pans out shall we...?
Anyway :o)
I've been stuck inside the flat for the last couple of days (well, more like 'panicking about being around people', lets be honest) and yesterday, I thought that if I don't get out then I'll just go stir crazy. So, I talked myself into doing a little Christmas Shopping and off I went :o) I know there are people out there who are well into that already but I'm pretty pleased with myself. And of course, I came back with a few bits for myself... Not much but somehow more than enough, all at the same time ;o) Lets take a look.
Yep, there was a quick stop at the Bromley Warhammer store to see what was new on the shelves. I've had half an eye open for 'Darkness Eternal', for a while, so that was an easy purchase. I don't normally go for Black Library hardbacks, as a rule, but 'Abraxia: Spear of the Everchosen' just looks so cool, doesn't it? Out of these two, 'Darkness Eternal' is more likely to be read first, probably on the bus to and from work ;o)
One more purchase from the Warhammer store... I've read a couple of Graham McNeill's 'Sigmar' books but that was ages ago now and I no longer have those copies, erm... Now I do :o) This omnibus edition is very much a 'dipping in and out of book' so you may not see anything about here for a while; I will get to it though.
And 'The Scour' is the 'odd one out' here, being a book that is in no way Warhammer related (Richard Swan has written for the Black Library but, you know what I mean). I've only read 'The Justice of Kings' (from the 'Empire of the Wolf' trilogy) and again, that was ages ago so I'm hoping that 'The Scour' is a quick route back into that series. Lets see.
And... That's your lot :o) Another short post but these four books all look like they could be interesting. Yep, seeing as I bought them, of course I'd say they look interesting but... they do :o)
Anything here catch your eye? Leave a comment and let me know.

Mrs B and I's christmas shopping has pretty much turned into buying Christmas cards and then some sort of gift card to put inside of it. It does make things easier and less stressful, that's for sure :-D
