Books for the TBR Pile... 'It's been a while since the last one...' Edition

It's only been a couple of weeks actually but it feels like a lot longer... Where did the time go? Where did this weekend go actually? I was just getting into it and all of a sudden I've got to go back to work. Dammit... :o(

I'm not going to lie, I went a little crazy after I got paid and bought far too many books so I thought I'd spread these posts out a little instead of just one MASSIVE book post that just went on forever... You're welcome ;o) It's a bit of an odd selection of books, this week, but there are some good ones though (and one that you've seen before but with a different cover... what?) so lets get to it...

Books from Brockley...

The slightly posher part of Lewisham ;o) My dentist is in Brockley so when I went to have my tooth out, I thought I'd have a little look in Crofton Books on the way. Definitely check this second hand book shop out if you happen to be passing, it's crammed full of all sorts and at a decent price as well. Here's what somehow found it's way into my bag,

I'm just rubbish at taking photos of books when I'm not wearing my glasses... ;o) Here we have a lot of chair with a copy of 'The Complete Apocalypse War' that is bigger than it looks in the picture! I've been after a copy for ages (had to sell my old copy) and I did pay over the odds for this one but has the 'Block Mania' story as well so can't complain. I'm pretty sure I'll have something to say about this book very soon.

Yes, I already have a copy of 'The Sword and the Stallion' (reviewed Here) but not with this cover and it was there so I had to buy it. Never read 'The End of all Songs' so I had that too, now I just need to read the preceding two volumes first... Basically, don't expect to hear too much about these books for a while ;o)

I've got it in my head to see how many of the old 'Doctor Who' Target novelisations I can pick up so 'The Green Death' and 'The Twin Dilemma' were grabbed as soon as I saw them. I do enjoy a nice, quick read at the moment so it's likely you'll see these feature sooner rather than later.
I've read a few 'Fighting Fantasy' books with my kids and I've got book one of 'Sorcery!' lined up for them so when I saw 'The Crown of Kings', that was another easy purchase. Me being me though, I now have books one and four; just need to find books two and three and then we're good ;o)

Books from Lewisham...

Only a couple in this post (courtesy of the Cancer Research shop),

I'm a sucker for a movie novelisation so when I saw 'Battlestar Galactica', I had to grab it. It's so old that it has a mixture of photos and concept art for the 'illustration bit' in the middle :o) I love stuff like this and it's a little reminder that I need to dog out my old box set and revisit the old series.
'Battlestar Galactica: Rebellion'... I know next to nothing about this book but it was 'two books for a pound' so thought why not? ;o) I don't know when I'll get round to these, to be honest, but they're definitely in the pile now.

And that's that for this week, are there any books here that you'd like to see me bump up the pile and read sooner? Leave a comment and let me know.
Have a great week ;o)
