'WandaVision' – Episode Six, 'All-New Halloween Spooktacular!'

I can't believe we're now only three episodes from the end of 'WandaVision'... What I can believe though is that we're still no clearer as to what is going on and why. Do you feel like the answer is staring you in the face (and all you need is a shift in focus to see it for what it really is)? Yep, me too. Three more episodes to go though, they can't hold the answers back for much longer...

But all that's for the next three weeks. We're at the end of this week which can only mean that it's time to see what's happening in Westview.

As ever, I'll try to avoid spoilers for this week's episode (and to be fair, I usually manage this quite well) but anything that happened last week is now officially fair game and open for discussion. So, if you haven't seen last week's episode (and especially if you're saving all the episodes up to watch at once), just bear that in mind.

If you're still here, lets go.

It's Halloween in Westfield and Vision is about to find out that the scariest stuff is happening in the streets where no-one walks, and beyond. In the meantime, Wanda is trying to make sense of having Pietro back in her life when there's no way that he should be. Outside the Hex, Hayward's intentions are starting to become clear but will a surprise move from Wanda change everything...?

'All-New Halloween Spooktacular!' is a step back from the big revelations of last week and back into asking loads of questions of an increasingly creepy situation. Dead brothers (with an amazing retro nod to the comic book character) and dead loves along with the outskirts of Westview where everything just... stops. Seeing all those people just stood there is pretty damn sinister and having Agnes slip out of character just adds to it. Here's someone who looks like she is always in control and now she's just as likely to freak out as the rest of them. Or is she? There are a lot of online theories floating about, I'm not sure that I agree with them but you can't help but wonder.

It's getting a little dark outside the Hex as well with Director Hayward looking like he's showing his true colours. I'm not sure what this means for Wanda but Monica, Jimmy and Darcy are now even more of a team than they were. Pieces are clearly being moved in preparation for the 'endgame' (no pun intended, well maybe a little one...) so at least it's more likely that we will get our answers in this show rather than have them bleed over into another one. Yeah, I'm wondering if they are going to be able to fit everything into three more episodes.

And then... BANG! Everything gets really intense with Wanda showing the full extent of her powers (or is someone lending her a little extra?) in her rescue of Vision. It's funny to see how Wanda's view of the outside world is reflected in what the Hex changes as it's boundaries move.

And just as the pieces are moved into place (and Darcy almost drops Disney's first F-Bomb), it finishes and once more, I'm left counting down the days until next Friday. Way to leave me hanging 'WandaVision', way to leave me hanging... ;o)

Seriously though, another great episode that promises a great finale to come. And you know what? I wouldn't bet on them not delivering.

(PS What was the advert all about this week? I didn't get this one)
