Another 'Mini-TBR Pile'
These posts seem to be helping, right now, in terms of my having a little something to aim for each week. So... Here we are again with a little look at my reading plans, for the next week at least.
Yep, that's a pretty ambitious 'Mini' TBR Pile, there is no way I'm even going to try and read all of those books over the next week (one or two will be a good showing). I had one of those moments where I was picking books up and others caught my eye at the same time... ;o)
I'll probably go for just one of the 'Doctor Who' books, I just can't decide between them at the time of writing this post. Any suggestions? And while I've had my eye on re-reading the 'Black Company' books for a while, the Book Stooges review of 'The Black Company' prompted me to finally take it off the shelf. I'm trying to avoid rash 'reading promises' this year but there may well be a re-read of the series... We'll see ;o)
The Pile is also looking a little 'Horus Heresy' heavy again :o) At this point, 'Era of Ruin' has a permanent place here, photographic evidence of my 'shame' as it were... I've actually made a start on 'The Shattered And The Souless' and 'False Gods' is another reminder to myself that I am actually capable of reading books over a couple of hundred pages long, I just need to get on and do it.
And 'Paws'...? Every TBR Pile needs an occasional visit from Deadpool :o)
Anything here that you'd like to see featured over the next week? Leave a comment and let me know. In the meantime, have a good one this weekend!

Glad to see you put BC on the pile. I'm re-reading it as well, and the first book has confirmed that yes, it is a strong series. Of all of Cook's stuff I've read, the 9 original BC books are his best stuff.
ReplyDeleteGood luck in whatever you end up reading :-)
My daughters are off school this week so I'll be lucky to get much reading done but... It's always nice to have something to aim for ;o)
DeleteAnd I'd agree with you. Cook writes some good stuff but his original Black Company books are the best.
